PURPOSE:
On December 23, 2021 and December 28, 2021, Purchase Orders 1276610 and 1276844 ($394,800.00 each) were issued as emergency procurements of COVID rapid test kits to identify active cases and prevent the spread of the disease. The kits include professional services for the proctoring of testing and data management of the results. Total number of kits (including professional services) purchased was 31,104.
This request is to:
1. Ratify the purchase of test kits and services on POs 1276610 and 1276844.
2. Approve $1,000,000.00 for future purchases of kits.
