PURPOSE:
Consists of providing the County methods to reduce potential root caused sanitary sewer overflows (SSO) by removing growth above sewer lines as well as provide quick access to sewer assets as needed per the Consent Decree Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) Program. The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to provide vegetation clearing, herbicide application, tree removal, stump removal, and debris removal for easements with overgrowth of kudzu and vegetation which includes an estimated 2,700 miles of sanitary sewer lines, and approximately 70,000 manholes. Five (5) bids were received.
