PURPOSE:
To obtain Board of Commissioners approval of the 10-year master plan for the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department
NEED/IMPACT
The DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs has completed its 10-year Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Plan’s purpose is to provide DeKalb County and the Department direction and guidance for park improvements and future park development as well as the development of new recreation facilities and recreation programming.

Cost of Master Plan $294,500. Cost of implementation TBD
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the 10-year master plan for the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
