PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on April 24, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $185,728.00. On October 23, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $100,576.00 for the purchase of an additional trailer. On April 09, 2019, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $244,942.00. On March 10, 2020, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $414,663.00. On October 13, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $1,725,000.00 for the purchase of six (6) new units for the Fire Academy. On December 15, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 for an amount not to exceed $76,050.25 for the purchase of a unit to be used for office spaces at the South Collection Lot. On April 13, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order No. 4 for an amount not to exceed $217,954.00 due to unforeseen circumstances at the Fire Academy and extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2021. On May 11, 2021, the BOC approved Change Order 5 for an amount not to exceed $101,383 to purchase a trailer to replace the R&D office trailer and extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2021 to provide time the replacement. On December 29, 2021, an emergency 60 day extension was approved as additional curb cuts were required by the County.

This agenda item is to:
1. Ratify the emergency sixty (60) day extension.
2. Increase the contract amount not to exceed by $51,898.44 for the additional curb cuts.
3. Extend the expiration of the contract to August 31, 2022 to complete all outstanding work.
