PURPOSE:
Authorize the acceptance of supplemental revision to the scope of work to the GDOT Federal Funding Assistance associated with the Mid-field Taxiway Improvements (Runway Incursion Mitigation) on the Airport and approve the execution of the attached resolution.
NEED/IMPACT:
Authorization is needed to accept a Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) supplemental agreement with revision to the scope of work which includes the Relocation of the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) navigational system in support of the mid-field taxiway improvements (Runway Incursion Mitigation) on the Airport. The supplemental assistance agreement provides for improvements to sustain continued safety on the Airport.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The previously approved GDOT Federal Funding Assistance for the mid-field taxiway improvements (runway incursion mitigation (RIM) is the same. There is no cost to the County.
