PURPOSE:
This project consists of the construction of partial northern portions of the of phase 3, unit 2 cells, totaling approximately 22 acres in area; clearing/grubbing, as well as excavation/hauling from the proposed cell footprint and adjacent stockpile area. The capacity of the County’s current landfill storage is reaching its maximum limit. By adding additional cells, the County can continue waste disposal for its residents and businesses. Two (2) bids were received.
