Approval and ratification of work completed for expended funds made by HEH Paving, Inc. for Contract No. 1183559 - 2019 LMIG Road Resurfacing Contract in the amount of $76,254.15 for use by The Department of Public Works. This contract consisted of patching, milling and resurfacing of County roads.

PURPOSE:
Additional asphalt and traffic control cost to cover additional work on Young Road from Panola Road to Redan Road. The original limit for resurfacing Young Road were established from Covington Highway to Redan Road. The additional limits added were to be paid under the current contract; however, the contractor submitted his final invoice for payment and after the existing contract was closed.
NEED/IMPACT:
This action will allow the County to compensate HEH Paving, Inc. for work completed and approved by the SPLOST Program Management Team.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Cost to county $76,245.15

Recommend approval of ratification of work completed for expended funds made by HEH Paving, Inc. in the amount of $76,245.15. Funds are paid from SPLOST Category 1A - Road Resurfacing.
