PURPOSE:
To consider accepting $572,549.00 from DeKalb County SPLOST for DeKalb County Courthouse Security Upgrades: camera equipment systems, sever, software, replace old x-ray machines, install delay egress exit alarms, exterior lighting, elevator cameras, gun safes, parking deck exterior security enclosures and cameras
NEED/IMPACT:
DeKalb County SPLOST is providing Funding For DeKalb County Courthouse Security Upgrades in the amount of $572,549.00. Changes in security protocol for the County Courthouse due to COVID has resulted in changes to Courthouse Security. Court Administrator’s office has identified various items to be addressed and upgraded with regards to security of the courthouse: camera equipment systems, sever, software, replace old x-ray machines, install delay egress exit alarms, exterior lighting, elevator cameras, gun safes, parking deck exterior security enclosures and cameras
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all security upgrades provided DeKalb County SPLOST.
