PURPOSE:

Awarded by the BOC on August 10, 2021 for an amount not to exceed $7,975,000.00.  More funds are needed this year because the contract is depleted of funds and there are still 3 months left on the contract.  It is imperative that Fleet orders the patrol and essential vehicles as soon as possible since they are necessary for public safety and to complete the orders for the 2022 vehicle replacement budget year. These contracts consist of purchasing replacement vehicles to enable County personnel to complete daily tasks that require the use of automobiles.  This request is to exercise the 1st renewal option.
