PURPOSE:
Consists of piggybacking off the Sourcewell Contract No. 011221-GAL competitively let solicitation for Body Armor with Related Accessories, Equipment and Services. This contract consists of the purchase of body armor, concealable or covert vests, tactical vests, armor plate or insert carriers, inserts, panels and backers, bomb or blast-resistant suits, K-9 (and other service animal) protective gear and other protective armor including shields, helmets, masks, ballistic blankets, ballistic backpacks, protectors for arms, legs, throat and groin. This request is to purchase new ballistic vests for police officers as the current vests are obsolete.
