PURPOSE:
Consists of debris collection Service. The debris collection services at North Collection Lot requires 3 person crews operating in either 8-yard compactor trucks, or F-450 stake body style dump trucks. Sanitation is extremely short of staff who have CDL licenses and the market for CDL drivers is extremely competitive. The plan is to hire someone on an emergency basis to handle the routes for debris pick up so the staff can be diverted to other routes. Delay in collecting debris could pose as a threat to the resident’s public health and safety.
This substitute is submitted to lower the original requested amount of $1,950,000.00 to $975,000.00 and stipulate services were approved to continue until December 31, 2022 in accordance with a friendly amendment made by PWI.
