PURPOSE:
To authorize payment to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for the adjustment or installation of water and sewer facilities improvements associated with the following project; and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute agreement that allow for the payments and to execute all necessary documents to complete this transaction:

? M006292 resurface State Route 155 from the Henry County Line to Interstate 20 in DeKalb County estimated $432,500

NEED/IMPACT:
The GDOT projects P.I. No. M006292 resurface State Route 155 from the Henry County Line to Interstate 20 in DeKalb County, Georgia. The Department of Watershed Management has existing utilities within the construction limits that are in conflict with the proposed work or need to be replaced due to age. Therefore, the County entered into a Contact Item Agreement with GDOT to include installations/adjustments for State Route 155 from the Henry County Line to Interstate 20 in DeKalb County resurfacing project to prevent construction delays, minimized impact to adjacent property owners and the traveling public. The County must agree to pay the estimated cost of completing the work; the exact payment amount will be based on unit bid prices.
