PURPOSE:
•To consider approving the 2019 - 2021 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU); and
•To consider accepting project supplies, services, maintenance, and equipment purchased by UASI on behalf of the DeKalb Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) in the amount of $420,638.20; and
•To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
This MOU governs items purchased by the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) on behalf of the DeKalb Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) for sustaining its Interoperability Program and the WebEOC as outlined below:
• Interoperability Program for GY2019 valued at an estimated $145,380.21
• Interoperability Program for GY2020 valued at an estimated $96,850.01
• WebEOC Program for GY2020 valued at an estimated $57,108.00
• Interoperability Program for GY 2021 valued at an estimated $121,299.98
