PURPOSE:
To consider reserving $500,000 to support the Cedar Grove Traffic Calming Initiative Phase II for improvements to Cedar Grove Road.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds ($500,000) are needed to support the infrastructure improvements and to be a deterrent for trucks traveling in a community and provide additional safety to mitigate speeding in the community. The total cost is projected at $2M. $800,000 has been appropriated to complete Cedar Grove / East Conley roundabout, Cedar Grove / Bouldercrest roundabout. There is a funding gap of $1.2M remaining to complete all phases of the project (Moore Road / West Side).

To approve and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents and contracts for the completion of the project.
