PURPOSE:

To consider approval of the usage of SPLOST funding in an amount not to exceed $199,650.00 for Fire Station
7 County furnished equipment and services; and to consider authorization for the Administration and the
SPLOST Program Management Team to process the necessary documents.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The building and construction phase of SPLOST funded Fire Station 7 was previously approved by the Board

of Commissioners. Approval is now needed for the funding purchases of equipment and associated services that

will be placed in the facility. This includes items such as kitchen equipment, furniture, fitness equipment, and

related installation costs.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Funding will be provided thru the SPLOST Program Category 2A.
