PURPOSE:
As the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic remain, it is imperative to continue public-private partnerships that help to lessen the impact of the pandemic in our local communities. The purpose of this agenda item is to allocate funding that will aid the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in providing computers, access to internet, other technology, job training, education assistance and other uses applicable for ARP funds under the law.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding allocated will specifically help to address the technological, educational, and vocational challenges that have been intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic for District 5 residents.

$25,000 of American Rescue Plan Grant Funds from POETA Account 105744.63258.52109.01.05.60247

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
