PURPOSE:

Correct agenda item, minutes and all documents related to agenda item #2021-3239 approved on October 26, 2021 to reflect Allocation to Appropriate (Not to exceed) $100,000.00 of Federal America Rescue Plan Funds reserved for District 4 in POETA Account # ARP POETA #105726-69110-521209-01-602476 to community organizations listed for the purpose of housing insecurity, rental, utility assistance, community food distribution and other essential needs for individuals and families impacted by COVID-19.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

DeKalb stakeholders servicing constituents have a need for financial support to provide essential resources,

relief and support to DeKalb County residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. DeKalb Community

Development Department will have oversight for the program management, and monitoring of the

$100,000.00 in funding allocations to community organizations.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

$100,000.00 in funding allocations to community organizations. Rescinding allocation to Center for Pan Asian Community Services- $50,000 agenda item 2021-3239 approved October 26, 2021.

 

                     National Coalition of 100 Black Women Stone Mountain Lithonia Chapter -$50,000

                     Potter House Development Community Center- $50,000

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute any corrections of all necessary documents and minutes related to agenda item 2021-3239 approved on October 26, 2021.
