PURPOSE:
To accept the donation of food and money valued at approximately $7,500 to DeKalb County Fire Rescue, Police, and other Public Safety departments from the Korean Central Presbyterian Church in appreciation of their service to the community. DCFR, DKPD, and other Public Safety Departments are also requesting permission to be interviewed and appear in a video that the donating church is producing during the event.
NEED/IMPACT:
The event recognizes DeKalb County Public Safety First Responders and maintains a positive relationship with the community in alignment with the National Faith and Blue, and other public safety initiatives, to build bridges and break biases.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the county.
