PURPOSE:
Pursuant to 13A of the Organizational Act, where “The chief executive shall nominate a person,” CEO Thurmond nominates Dr. Glenwood Ross for reappointment to the Housing Authority of DeKalb County. This is for a five (5) year term which will expire December 31, 2023.
NEED/IMPACT:
The mission of the Housing Authority of DeKalb County is to provide sustainable and affordable housing as a platform to enhance lives. Dr. Ross’ last appointment term expired on December 31, 2013, but he has continued to serve. This action would reappoint Dr. Ross to an official five (5) year term that would expire on December 31, 2023. Pursuant to 13A of the Organizational Act, the Chief Executive Officer nominates Dr. Glenwood Ross to the Housing Authority of DeKalb County.
