PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 14, 2014 for an estimated revenue of $300,000.00. On October 8, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to December 31, 2019, at no cost to the County. On November 12, 2019, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 for an amount not to exceed $1,560,000.00 and to extend the contract for two years with one (1) option to renew. On September 14, 2021, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $900,000.00. Consists of recycling single stream materials collected by the recycling program. This request is to add funding and to extend the contract expiration date to July, 31, 2023, for the continuation of the recycling of materials.
A scope of work is currently in development in anticipation of a solicitation to be advertised in the first quarter of 2023.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 with:
Pratt Recycling, Inc., 1599 Highway 138 NE, Conyers, GA 30013
Amount Not to Exceed: $480,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the amendment and all associated documents.
