PURPOSE:

Georgia Power will provide funding to upgrade transformer, install switchgear, and install buried electrical cable to prepare for electrical vehicle infrastructure at the Watershed Management facility at 1580 Roadhaven Drive, Stone Mountain, GA 30083.  Total amount not to exceed $382,266.00.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

DeKalb County is planning to acquire more electric vehicles and charging infrastructure is necessary to charge vehicles at the Watershed Management facility. 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No match is required by the County.  The installation of the chargers must be performed by a Georgia Power Partner and is part of the scope of this work.

Facilities Management recommends approval and acceptance of Georgia Power Agreement to provide funding for the transformer upgrade, install switchgear, and install buried electrical cable for EV infrastructure in an amount not exceed $382,266.00.
