PURPOSE:
To consider granting an 0.10-acre easement area to Georgia Power Company for activities supporting a Georgia Power Company transmission line project (LIMS Project: 2017114591-Parcel 138) impacting county owned property located at 3620 Glenwood Road; and to consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents pertaining to this project.
NEED/IMPACT:
Georgia Power Company is offering a consideration to acquire an 0.10-acre easement across DeKalb County owned property located at 3620 Glenwood Road to support a proposed transmission line project. Execution of an easement agreement is needed in order to grant Georgia Power Company an easement across county owned property. The subject area has an appraised value of $870.00 and is under the management of the Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs Department. The County Attorney’s Office has reviewed the attached easement agreement and has approved it as-to-form.

Grant an 0.10-acre easement area impacting 3620 Glenwood Road to Georgia Power Company for activities supporting Georgia Power Company’s transmission line project; and Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents pertaining to this project.
