PURPOSE:

The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department seeks Board of Commissioners approval of a fee increase for horse boarding services at Little Creek Horse Farm Park from $550 to $650 effective 01/01/2023.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The fee increase will offset market increases that LCHF has experienced over the last year in manure management and the cost to purchase hay, grain and stall shavings.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Estimated to add $52,800 to fee revenues

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve a fee increase for horse boarding services at Little Creek Horse Farm Park from $550 to $650 effective 01/01/2023 and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
