PURPOSE:

To consider a resolution to exchange approximately 13,317 square feet of Lancaster Road in the Land Lot 017 of the 15th District for approximately 13,591 square feet of right of way along Lancaster Road; and

To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents for the completion of this transaction.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

As part of a redevelopment project, SDP Lancaster, LLC has agreed to dedicate approximately 13,591 square feet of future Lancaster Road right of way, valued at $31,000, in exchange for approximately 13,317 square feet of existing Lancaster Road right of way, valued at $31,000 for the redevelopment of 1064 Lancaster Road.  In addition, Lancaster. LLC will be constructing off site improvements by constructing a road from Old McDonough Road to 1064 Lancaster Road.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.  The developer will be constructing a new road from Old McDonough Road to 1064 Lancaster Road to the benefit of DeKalb County stakeholders.

Recommended Action

Approve resolution to exchange approximately 13,317 square feet of Lancaster Road in the Land Lot 017 of the 15th District for approximately 13,591 square feet of right of way along Lancaster Road; and Authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents for the completion of this transaction.
