PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 10, 2022 for an amount not to exceed $844,800.00. This contract consists of purchasing twelve (12) 39-foot dump trailers to safely carry sludge from the treatment plants to the landfill. The purchase was more cost effective to the County as it relates to daily operating costs. This request, to increase funding, results from price increases since the initial award.
Two (2) Invitations to Bid (ITB) were processed in 2021 to obtain these trailers through a competitive process but no bids were received for either ITB. DWM was able to locate a source for the trailers and East Manufacturing Corporation was awarded as a sole source supplier.
