PURPOSE:

To consider authorizing the payment of $18,500.00 to Georgia Power to install 4 decorative street lights along the new Fire Station No. 7 property frontage at 1712 Columbia Drive.
To consider reserving up to $18,500.00 of SPLOST funds from Category 2A- Replace existing fire station(s) and construction new fire station(s) and related capital equipment for the street light installation costs; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute documents pertaining to this work.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

Street lights are required as part of the DeKalb County Zoning Code and the DeKalb County Development Codes for new developments. This installation is required as part of the construction of the new Fire Station No. 7 located at 1712 Columbia Drive.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

SPLOST funds in the amount of $18,500.00.
