PURPOSE:
To consider approval of Emergency Agreement for Provision of Professional Services with Goodwill, in an amount not to exceed $500,000.00 for assistance with the Tenant Landlord Assistance Coalition through December 31, 2024.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Federal Government allocated Emergency Rental Assistance Program funding to DeKalb County to assist in addressing the rental crises affecting the nation. This action appropriates $500,000.00 in ERA 2 funding to Goodwill in furtherance of the Tenant Landlord Assistance Coalition goals and objectives.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This action appropriates $500,000.00 in ERA 2 funding to Goodwill.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve Emergency Agreement for Provision of Professional Services with Goodwill for assistance with the Tenant Landlord Assistance Coalition using ERA 2 funds and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents in a form acceptable to the County Attorney.
