PURPOSE:
To consider approving the donation, loan or sell at the fair market value price of surplus Equipment #11020 a 2011 Spartan/Rosenbauer 1000 GMP pumper to Walton County Fire Rescue.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Walton County Fire Rescue Department is currently in need of a reserve pumper in their fleet, due to a fire that destroyed a first line pumper on April 21, 2022. DeKalb County currently has in surplus a 2011 Spartan/Rosenbauer 1000 GMP pumper with 197,398 miles that Walton County Fire Rescue is interested in obtaining. Walton County Fire Rescue was able to assist the County in 2018 with a severed water main break.

Possible revenue if sold at fair market value
