PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 8, 2021 to three (3) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $800,000.00. On June 14, 2022, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option with two (2) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $800,000.00. This contract consists of providing disaster recovery cleaning services of water and sewage and supplementary services for repairs to systems affected by spills from heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing. This request is to add funding to the contract in order to remediate damage at the DeKalb Judicial Tower that occurred when a pipe burst in the penthouse, on December 25, 2022, which leaked down 9 floors causing extensive damage to ceilings, floors, carpets, interior walls in courtrooms and throughout the building.
