PURPOSE:
To appropriate $500,000 from the Tourist Product Development CIP Account to fund the remaining phases of the Youth Farm Project.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $500,000 allocation will be used to complete the remaining phases of the Youth Farm including the cost for land restoration, repair and renovation of building structures, country store build-out, greenhouse, industrial honeybee farm, roadside historic marker, professional consulting services, contractor services and all other associated costs for the completion of the project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Appropriation of $500,000 from account 104027.89110.541401.01.601643 to fund the remaining phases of the Youth Farm Project.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
