PURPOSE:
To appropriate District 7 reserves in the amount of $117,000 to Pond & Company for a study on the Candler Rd. corridor.
NEED/IMPACT:
The $117,000 appropriation will be used to carry out a study by Pond & Company to determine strategies and initiatives that can assist DeKalb County in the ongoing revitalization of the Candler Road corridor. The study will identify proactive policy and infrastructure mechanisms for DeKalb County and alternatives to stimulate, invest, and support economic development on the Candler Road corridor.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this allocation of $117,000 is from the District 7 Reserve for Appropriation.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
