PURPOSE:
To consider approval of a 5-year lease of approximately 2,000 square feet atop Stone Mountain for County Radio and E911 communications with Pinnacle Towers LLC. The lease would commence January 1, 2023, ending December 31, 2023, to include 4 renewal options until December 31, 2027.
NEED/IMPACT:
The County’s communication infrastructure requires key locations of towers and equipment to capture radio and E911 communications. Stone Mountain is a critical location for this communication. This contract will continue the leasing of approximately 2,000 square feet atop the mountain.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this lease will be paid out of E911 on a monthly basis with a total contract price of two hundred sixty-seven thousand, seven hundred sixty-two dollars ($267,762.00).
