PURPOSE:
House Bill 315 mandates the use of a uniform Ballot Marketing Device (BMD) voting system throughout Georgia. On January 24, 2020, the State issued a directive mandating that all security paper be provided by Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. On June 18, 2021, Dominion extended to Tattnall, a two-year qualification as a manufacturer and finisher of the ImageCast Ballots. VRE obtained the required ballots for the May 24, 2022, General Primary and General Election and additional Ballots were received in October. This request is to ratify the purchase of the ballots for the 2022 Elections.
