PURPOSE:
The Clerk to Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Commissioners would like the minutes of the Commission to reflect Commissioner Terry’s request to rescind his appointment of Ward Silver to the Citizen Oversight Committee for SPLOST Revenues and Expenditures.
NEED/IMPACT:
It has been determined and by mutual agreement, both Commissioner Terry and Mr. Silver request that Mr. Silver’s appointment to the Citizen Oversight Committee for SPLOST Revenues and Expenditures be rescinded.
The Board of Commission approved agenda item 2021-2097 with a term to serve until 12/31/2024. He is no longer able or available to serve in this capacity.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No financial impact to DeKalb County
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Direct the Clerk to record that the appointment of Ward Silver to the Citizen Oversight Committee for SPLOST Revenues and Expenditures by District 6 Commissioner Ted Terry on February 9, 2021 has been rescinded.
