PURPOSE:

To consider accepting a donation of 254 twin mattresses from Tempur-Pedic North America LLC, for Fire Rescue.

NEED/IMPACT:

Currently Tempur-Pedic North America LLC has a program in which mattresses can be donated to an organization.  The company has approved eligibility of the donation for the Fire Rescue Department of Dekalb County. These beds would greatly support the Fire Stations located throughout the County.  The estimated value of the donation is $316,316.36
