PURPOSE:
To approve the 2023 capital project list.
NEED/IMPACT:
The administration is requesting the Board of Commissioners to approve the attached capital project list and corresponding appropriations and authorize the transfer of funds to the CIP Fund.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total capital project list is $46,936,981 ($45,136,981 from the 2023 operating budget and $1,800,000 from the Tourism Product Development CIP account).
Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amount indicated below:
Contributions - General Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund (09041.611350.100.0000.0000) - $1,000,000
Contributions - Designated Services Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund (09043.611350.271.0000.0000) - $1,000,000
Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:
Department of Information Technology - General Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund (01605.611350.100.0000.0000) - $1,000,000
Public Works - Roads & Drainage - Designated Services Fund - Other Professional Services (05740.521209.271.0000.0000) - $1,000,000
Appropriate of $1,800,000 from account 104027.89110.541401.01.601643 to fund the Michelle Obama Walking Trail Extension and Trailhead.
