PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 27, 2019, to four (4) vendors for a total amount not to exceed $1,200,000.00. On January 28, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase Contract No. 1174324 with Lose Design for an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 to complete the 10-year Comprehensive Master Plan and other assigned projects. On March 31, 2020, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to Contract 1174324 and Change Order No. 1 to Contracts 1174317, 1174318 and 1174320 to increase the contracts for a total amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00 to fund projects in 2020. On August 11, 2020, the BOC approved the 1st renewal for a total amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00 to all contracts. On August 10, 2021, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal for a total amount not to exceed $1,260,000.00 to all contracts. On September 13, 2022, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to Contract 1174324 and Change Order No. 2 to Contracts 1174317, 1174318 and 1174320 to increase contract funds for a total amount not to exceed $1,850,000.00 and term through June 30, 2023.
This request seeks an increase to contract funds and term through April 1, 2024. Approval of this request will support services for Belvedere, Hairston, and Needham Parks as well as stream restoration at Sugar Creek, Margaret Harris and Frazier Rowe Parks and Design Plans for Water works at Mason Mill. Additionally, the procurement process for a new award is currently in progress.
This substitute is submitted to revise the requested contract term increase and funding source.
