PURPOSE:
To consider approval of Consent to Assignment to Contract No. 1164727 by L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (As Successor to Harris Corporation) to PASSUR Aerospace, Inc., for Noise Operations and Monitoring System (NOMS) with Installation of New NMTS, including Flight Tracking and Complaint Management Software and NOMS Service and Maintenance at DeKalb Peachtree Airport (Multi-Year Agreement). PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. has acquired the exclusive licensing rights for the contract fulfilment of DeKalb County Contract No. 1164737; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Consent to Assignment.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Contractor, L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (As Successor to Harris Corporation) desires to assign and transfer all of its rights, title, and interest in and to its Contract No. 1164727 to PASSUR Aerospace, Inc., for Noise Operations and Monitoring System (NOMS) with Installation of New NMTS, including Flight Tracking and Complaint Management Software and NOMS Service and Maintenance at DeKalb Peachtree Airport (Multi-Year Agreement). PASSUR Aerospace, Inc., desires to accept the assignment and transfer of the contract.
The Consent to Assignment does not require briefing by the Airport Advisory Board.
The County Attorney has reviewed the document and approved it as to form pending Governing Authority approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$56,244.00 is left on the contract and will be paid from the airport enterprise fund. The amount will be invoiced by the assignee by the end of the year.
