PURPOSE:
To accept a $40,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Flat Shoals Park; to allocate $45,000 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 for the project.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of shade structures at Flat Shoals Park. The shade structures will provide additional recreational opportunity for the surrounding community. The total project budget is $85,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Grant funds $40,000; District 7 $45,000
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $40,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Flat Shoals Park; to allocate $45,000 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 for the project; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents for the completion of the project.
