PURPOSE:
To accept a $50,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at NH Scott Park; allocate $19,684.29 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 and $8,750 from District 6 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 for the project.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of fitness stations at NH Scott Park. The fitness stations will provide additional recreational opportunities for the surrounding community. The total project budget is $78,434.29.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Grant funds $50,000; District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account $19,684.29; District 6 Reserve for Appropriations Account $8750
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $50,000 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at NH Scott Park; allocate $19,684.29 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 and $8,750 from District 6 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
