PURPOSE:
To accept a $27,500 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at Shoal Creek I park; allocate $5,000 from District 3 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 and $8,750 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 for the project.
NEED/IMPACT:
This grant is designated for the installation of a porta john station enclosure and site amenities at Shoal Creek I park. The enclosure and amenities will provide additional recreational opportunities for the surrounding community. The total project budget is $41,250.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Grant funding $27,500; District 3 Reserve for Appropriations $5,000; District 7 Reserve for Appropriations $8,750.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept a $27,500 Park Pride Community Building Grant for capital improvements at NH Scott Park; allocate $5,000 from District 3 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.0000 and $8,750 from District 7 Reserve for Appropriations Account 09130.579002.272.0000.000 for the project; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to complete the project.
