PURPOSE:
Provide educational programming related to the Beacon Hill community of Decatur and its history during the Beacon Hill Concert. Residents of Beacon Hill will be providing educational talks between and sharing stories of the business owners, residents, community organizers and change makers who fought against racism, segregation, and inequity.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Beacon Hill Concert focuses on the history, culture, and people of Beacon Hill community once a thriving Black community of homes, businesses, and churches within Decatur.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
