PURPOSE:
For DeKalb County Police to conduct an assessment and provide recommendations of areas in each district of DeKalb County that could benefit from the installation and use of Flock Safety ALPR Cameras, or similar devices.
NEED/IMPACT:
The review is needed to assist in high traffic areas, as a traffic calming measure, and to aid the DeKalb County Police Department in crime fighting in Unicorperated DeKalb County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To be determined in the 2023 Midyear Adjustment.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents and contracts for the completion of the project.
