PURPOSE:
For the Board to accept the award from CJCC in the amount of $130,444 to be used for the DUI Court Program operations.
NEED/IMPACT:
Grant funds are essential to sustain the DUI Court Program and enhance public safety in the community. Funds are used for drug testing, drug testing supplies, mobile alcohol monitoring, facilitation of groups/treatment, assistance with participant transportation, detox/inpatient resources, staff training/travel, group curriculum and materials.
FISCAL IMPACT:
A county match of 12% is required. The total match amount is $15,653 and is included in the program’s approved county budget.

Approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents to accept said award and to appropriate the award amount to a new grant fund to benefit the DeKalb County DUI Court Program.
