PURPOSE:
To accept and approve six awards in the amount of $10,263,914.65 from the State of Georgia Governor's Office of Planning and Budget for Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionally Impacted Communities. The awards are for Gresham Park, Truelove Park, Hamilton Park, NH Scott Park, Stoneview Park and Cedar Park.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs Department has received six grants from the State of Georgia Governor's Office of Planning and Budget. The six grants are to be used for capital improvements at six DeKalb County parks that have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants are listed below:

Truelove Park GA-0013762 $2,087,932.00
Hamilton Park GA-0013844 $2,194,083.65
NH Scott GA-0013744 $2,200,000.00
Stoneview Park GA-0013758 $360,195.00

Reimbursable grant from the State of Georgia in the amount of $10,263,914.65 for RPCA capital improvements
