PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 14, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $207,600.25. This contract consists of rebuilding and rehabilitation of the bridge on Park Drive. Due to the condition of the bridge being more damaged than initially thought, sections of the bridge substructure will have to be redesigned and rehabilitation will require additional time and money to complete. This request seeks to revise the scope of work and to increase the contract funds and term through September 30, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 with:
E & D Contracting Services, Inc., 2001 Mills B. Lane Boulevard, Savannah, GA 31405
Amount Not To Exceed: $500,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
