PURPOSE:
To consider approval of Consent to Assignment to Contract No. 14-801027 by Avionics Sales Corporation to The Maintenance Group, LLC dba Elliott Aviation, LLC; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the Consent to Assignment.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Lessee, Avionics Sales Corporation, desires to assign and transfer all of its rights, title and interest in and to its long-term ground lease to The Maintenance Group, LLC dba Elliott Aviation, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company. The Maintenance Group, LLC dba Elliott Aviation, LLC, desires to accept the assignment and transfer of the lease, as a result of a purchase agreement between Avionics Sales Corporation and The Maintenance Group, LLC dba Elliott Aviation, LLC.
Approval of the Consent to Assignment was briefed to the Airport Advisory Board on June 12, 2023.
The County Attorney has reviewed the document and approved it as to form pending Governing Authority approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a revenue generating lease agreement. There is no cost to the County.
