PURPOSE:
To consider accepting -$106,117.00 for the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and appropriating the amount to a new Grant Fund.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council has awarded -$106,117.00 to the DeKalb County Adult Felony Drug Court. Funding will be used toward annual conference, psychiatric & nursing services, counseling & peer support services, medication, drug testing & monitoring supplies, for program participants. The grant period is from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The required cash match ($14,471.00) will be met through the Superior Court Operating budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for all services provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Grant in the amount of $106,117.00. Funding must be spent by June 30, 2024, end of State FY 2024.
