PURPOSE:
Approved by the BOC on July 12, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $25,000, as an allocation from the District 7 Reserve for Appropriation to the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce to build a strong business ecosystem and for small business community programming and event. This request seeks to extend the Contract time and term through July 30, 2024 and add funds in an amount not to exceed $25,000.
NEED/IMPACT:
The extension of Contract 1300961 for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce consists of building a strong business ecosystem, providing programming and resources, and an event to expand opportunities for small businesses in DeKalb County. The DeKalb Chamber will continue to connect and provide support for small businesses located in economically distressed areas of the County. This request seeks to extend the Contract time and term through July 30, 2024 and add funds in an amount not to exceed $25,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding of $25,000 for the extension of Contract 1300961 is from the District 7 Reserve For Appropriation.

Recommend approval of the Change Order with the DeKalb County Chamber of Commerce.
