PURPOSE:

Allocate (not to exceed) $10,000 of District 6 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) from POETA account 106388.63230.521209.10.6.602778 to DeKalb Juvenile Justice Council to address current issues youth and families face in the home, school, and community. DeKalb Juvenile Justice Council helps parents dealing with everyday issues working in partnership with DeKalb Juvenile Court creating positive change in the present and future for our young men and women and ensure they are thriving as law abiding, productive members of our community.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

DeKalb Juvenile Justice Council will use allocated funds to assist youth and families through their intervention programming.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Allocate (not to exceed) $10,000 of District 6 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) from POETA account 106388.63230.521209.10.6.602778 to DeKalb Juvenile Justice Council

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

To approve the District 6 ARP appropriation to the DeKalb Juvenile Justice Council and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
